Our Story

It all started with our owner of King's Way Cafe: Selina Clim.

She has packed lunch for her husband, Keith, for years. These lunches were not just any brown bag lunch. The lunches included two meals depending on what shift he was working during that time. His coworkers have looked on in amazement as she would pack everything that he would need right down to the utensils.

She had this same mentality for her children. Packing lunches, and more importantly taking care of people with a comforting meal, is a family tradition for Selina.  Her love for cooking stemmed from her mother’s side of the family whose surname is King, and the inspiration for our name, King’s Way Café.

Selina believes food is something that people can connect over and with a big family, this is important. The King family is notorious for having a big family, and not just biological, as there are many who have been adopted into the family.

After leaving the corporate world with years of service, Selina is ready to dedicate her time to her passion of taking care of people through cooking. The location was perfect as it is right around the corner from where her father lived until his passing. Evanston has been a part of her journey and we believe that King’s Way Café will leave an imprint on Evanston’s journey as well. We are excited to welcome you to the family and introduce you to the King’s way.

At Kings Way Café, we pride ourselves on feeding the Greater Cincinnati area both comforting and nutritious food. We treat every customer and employee like family. Our community-orientated approach and in-house cooking are what make King's Way Cafe one of a kind.
